3. GUIDANCE AND COUNSELING FOR THE YOUTH.

Guidance and counseling is a powerful tool of addressing the crisis facing young people today.

We in Tag – Kenya have realized this and have designed this program to help us respond to the numerous social and emotional challenges and crises facing young people in our community today. Some of the issues/ crises that we address include:

i. HIV/AIDS among the youth and the entire community.
ii. Drug abuse among young people.
iii. Teenage pregnancy and sexual immorality.
iv. Interpersonal relationships among the youth.
v. Other youth related crises.

We do this through outreach programs that focus on schools, churches, youth groups and other youth related institutions. We also train youth groups on peer counseling and community counseling.
